Introduction
The Major of Pol ice Administration is committed to provide professional training, education, service, and research in the fields of criminal justice. As the department with the longest history in the sphere of Korean public safety, Pol ice Administration strives to offer the skills of moral judgment, innovative problem solving, and effective crime prevent ion in the fields of pol icing, criminology, correction, fire/forensic science, and related public service.
It seeks to prepare students for professional careers of work and scholarship in criminal justice and related areas. In fact, the Major has produced approximately 1,400 graduates so far, especially in areas related to national police service, the national intelligence section, the military investigating organization, private security service, the criminal law and judicial organizations, and research institutions.
The Major strives for public safety by stimulating students to the highest ideals of ethical commitment and professional capability to deal with the challenges of crime prevention.
